Customised purlins with high dimensional accuracy
Our modern and high-quality steel purlins and transoms are cost-effective elements of modern lightweight metal construction. In combination with many other products and services, SCHRAG steel purlins and transoms offer an attractive value-added package. Our production processes offer particular advantages for customers, as the purlins and edge profiles can be specially optimised to meet the requirements of the respective construction projects. Compared to conventional hot-rolled profiles, our edge profiles can be produced economically by optimising the profile geometry and material thickness. In addition, processing opens up many other possibilities for adapting profiles to individual requirements and facilitating assembly.
Advantages of bending
The production process of bending enables a high degree of flexibility in the design. This means that the profile geometries can be optimised to meet the requirements of the respective construction project, and processing such as drilling, notching, bevel cuts, notching or special perforations are easily possible. The efficiency of these processes means that even small batch sizes can be produced. Thanks to our reliable mastery of the processes, we are able to impress our customers with short delivery times and ready-to-assemble solutions. Ready-to-install packaging and labelling (positioning) of the profiles facilitate processing on construction sites.
Purlins of the highest material quality and grade
When it comes to material quality, you can play it safe with SCHRAG|Kantprofile. We use S390GD grade structural steels with Z275 corrosion protection for our purlins. However, we also offer additional added value in terms of corrosion protection if required. Depending on requirements, the purlins and other edge profiles can also be designed with higher corrosion protection systems such as Magnelis®. Depending on the structural requirements, we manufacture steel purlins and profiles up to a material thickness of 4.00 mm.
