We devote all our passion to the production of customised metal façades. We specialise in the design and manufacture of façades for new buildings or renovations. From the initial idea through to realisation, we are partners to architects, engineers, building contractors, construction companies and investors.

For us, every project begins with a detailed consultation with the customer. We first listen and then share our ideas about the material, shape and colour of the façade. We take time for our customers. You tell us your ideas and we help you with our team, which can draw on years of experience and numerous projects with façade systems. We undoubtedly apply this knowledge to every project - no matter how individual it is. We work closely with our customers to create customised designs.

The quality of the material is crucial. And, above all, the choice of the right material for the respective application. We support you in choosing the right material for your façade: aluminium, steel, stainless steel, galvanised. As a manufacturer of high-quality façades, we know the properties of the various metals inside out and know how the material needs to be processed. And because the material itself is not everything, we also offer surface finishes in various colours and systems.

Facades

In order to fit thin-walled steel elements - e.g. made of aluminium, galvanised or stainless steel - perfectly into the façade of a building, connecting elements are required that meet the high requirements for flatness and surface rigidity.

With Schrag, architects, building owners and contractors have the opportunity to design façades with exceptional precision and surface rigidity, even with large-format elements. Of course, we offer a selection of different fixing methods due to the flexibility and originality of the installation. Visible rivets or screws or concealed fixings are possible.

Schrag offers many solutions and combinations from a specific raw material. It is clear that, in addition to the decorative requirements of the façade, we also take into account the fire protection function and the variety of shapes. And all of this is achieved by selecting the right material based on its special properties and a wide range of colour palettes.

Panel facades

Schrag panel façades are undoubtedly characterised by their originality and accuracy of fit. They consist of elongated, curved elements that can be customised to the respective building and manufactured in different widths depending on the customer's requirements. There are no restrictions with Schrag panel façades, as there are for buildings with a round shape, for example. This is certainly a great advantage, especially when retrofitting existing buildings. The panels can be customised to the building, giving it an original appearance.

Especially in the area of doors and windows, there are optimal possibilities for adapting the panel façade to their surfaces. Firstly, we offer an unlimited choice of the size and shape of the joints between the panels, which can be arranged horizontally, vertically or in any other direction, depending on the customer's requirements.

The bend at the front of the façade gives the panels additional surface rigidity, resulting in clear finishes in the joint area. Not only do we offer a system with invisible fixings, but it is also possible to construct the panels with visible fixings, entirely according to our customers' wishes.

Sheet metal facades

Flat sheet metal façades are certainly characterised by clear lines and precise workmanship. There is no doubt that individuality and high product quality are also paramount for this type of façade. These façades can be designed in various shapes and sizes according to the customer's wishes. This makes it possible to optimise the façade, particularly in the door and window area, without detracting from the visual impression. They are usually reinforced with additional elements made of flat sheets, which are suspended from pins in the vertical substructure of the profiles.

Such façades give the visual impression of high-quality, smooth surfaces with a distinctive finish - without visible fixings.

Elementary facades

Schrag elementary façades are characterised by their individuality and high-quality workmanship. They generally consist of flat sheet metal panels in the form of laterally curved cassettes, which can be manufactured in small or large format systems depending on customer requirements.

The top edge is bent into a Z-shape as standard. The base is slightly bevelled to ensure controlled rainwater drainage. The lower edge is curved in a U-shape and is above the edge of the element below. At the same time, it extends to the side edge of the vertical profile and has a stiffening function. Depending on the load-bearing capacity of the panel, one or more additional stiffening profiles can be attached.

The façade elements are suspended from brackets attached to the vertical rails. Thanks to the precise manufacture of the individual parts, the elements can be installed quickly and easily in accordance with the specified construction direction.
